We love you Matty.

"Almost" final mixes of only about half of the catalog of unreleased studio music from Matt Garrity and the 17th Chapter family. Matt decided that the final release will be titled "Already & Also". These songs were recorded during different times and in different places over the years with a cast of some of Matty's closest musical companions. Some over the last few years and even months, some many years ago and pulled from the archives, dusted off and in some cases added to. Here are a handful of tunes that we can enjoy now in an "almost ready" state... but know that there is so much more to come!

Matt was working hard to finish recording his incredible body of work and thankfully was able to record all of his parts that he had hoped. In his final months with us he was able to oversee much of the mixing process and happy to be in the home stretch getting this huge album done. It is with such heavy and love-drenched hearts that we don't get to squeeze Matty and put the finished album in his hands while witnessing those signature celebratory Matty G dance moves we love so much.

In time, i hope it becomes easier to accept that we weren't able to put this to print before Matty left us. But i do know that he knew we were going to get this finished and out into the world. In the coming months the full catalog will be mixed, mastered and released on vinyl and compact disc as well as available for digital download. There are likely to be twice as many songs on the finished album and no shortage of smiles, tears, laughs, memories and endless love.

Massive, huge-zilla love and thanks to everyone who has helped and is helping to see this through.
